The Department of Pharmacology at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body.
The Department of Pharmacology is conducting an open search for Project Scientists at the Assistant, Associate, or Full level to perform vital research, focusing on areas relevant to signal transduction, drug discovery, molecular specificity of therapeutic or environmental agents, drug disposition and action, structural and computational biology, cancer biology, and inflammation.
Project Scientists will make significant and creative contributions to a research project. Project scientists will be responsible for performing studies and experiments, providing on-site teaching to students in the lab, preparing presentations, and reporting and summarizing data.

Appointment rank is dependent upon academic experience and scholarly achievements.

Candidates must have a PhD, a Doctoral degree, or equivalent in Pharmacological Sciences, or related fields.
Candidates with at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience are preferred.
Candidates with at least 5 publications demonstrating experience in disseminating findings are preferred.
