The Integrative Omics and Data Science in Disease Prevention and Therapeutics Program is focused on the development and application of new -data science tools and cutting-edge analytical technologies to study biological systems from single cell to human population scales. The program aims to holistically understand human health and disease by applying integrative multi-omics and data science strategies for the detection of toxicants and antidotes in the treatment of disease. Our program leverages contemporary -omics that include advanced imaging, sequencing, proteomics, metabolomics, and heteronuclear NMR technologies. Research projects include understanding of signal transduction pathways in disease and drug action; establishing the impact of diet on disease and drug action; the role of the microbiome on disease and drug action.
